Tom, great to see you again at Pintail Point, display was great. For my 16 ga. trap grade I use 20 grains of IMR 7625 with regular CCI 209 primers, Ballistic Products 16 gauge sporting wads (072SG16). I don't remember where the recipe can from, could be something I cobbled together from reading various manuals. My biggest problem with the hulls is getting the crimp to stay closed, especially on older hulls. The newer hulls are somewhat better than those that came out of N.H., but still leave a great bit to be desired. I find 2-3 reloads is about it with most of these hulls, sometimes 4-5, but that is very unusual. What type of relaoder are you using? Trying to adjust a reloader designed for 2 3/4" hulls to work for 2 1/2" hulls is also problematic.
