I managed to slip away to visit my friend for the weekend. He lives in some great hunting country. I drove all night friday and made it just in time to set up for legal shooting time. Saturday morning I used a 34" barreled Parker DHE 12 gauge made in 1907 while my buddy used his Beretta Extrema. We didn't have much come in, but Brett got the duck in the photo while the Parker took the three geese. Sunday we went Elk hunting in the morning, picked up his boat and went walleye fishing in the afternoon, and made it back in time to take a few geese in the evening. Only two came in but Brett took one with his Beretta while I got the other with a 32" barreled Elsie field grade made in 1924. I've tried to talk him into stepping away from the dark side and trying a classic double, but he isn't convinced yet. No limits except walleye, but it was a great weekend!
