I asked this question on another website but I thought I should ask here also. I know many of you have refinished, upgraded and even assembled guns from parts and might be able to ballpark it. What would it cost to build a 12b.OO by hand to L.C. Smith standards circa 1913? The reason I ask is that I believe the lower grade guns are a bargain compared to the new doubles I have seen. Hopefully we can get some of the cogniscenti to chime in and draw some comparisons. Thanks, Peter
