20 ga. chamber lengths and shotshell choices. Archived Message

Sorry to ask what's been answered many times before. I have an L.C. Smith Field grade 20 ga. made in 1925, judging by the serial number, and I guess I shouldn't use modern 2 3/4" shotshells. I recently saw a good discussion of the changing chamber lengths in older shotguns, including L.C. Smiths, leading up to the present, but I can't find it on this site, (or elsewhere?) anymore. Can anyone guess what discussion I'm referring to, and supply a link to it, or supply the information as it applies to my gun? Thank you.
