Send your L C Smith with the popped ribs to Dewey Vicknair. Why did the ribs pop off ??? Is one of your barrels swollen ??? Did you fire STEEL SHOT or some other duck load through your L C Smith ??? There will be a reason the ribs came loose. If one of your barrels is swollen it will most likely have to be replaced. A barrel that swells just .008 or .009 inches will pop the rib loose. Run your hand down the barrels near where the rib is loose. If you feel a swollen area or can see a swollen area from inside or outside of either barrel you have a whole different problem than just the rib being loose. Call me if you need more help inspecting your L C Smith for the real cause of this rib problem.
