Unfortunately Jay, you don't know what the previous owners used in the gun. I would suggest a good check and clean by a double gun specialist smith, with glasbedding and repair of any cracks in the stock. Thereafter, you certainly should be comfortable using any standard pressure 7/8 oz 20g load.
