I received my letter today on my Specialty grade. The letter states it was purchased by G.R.H. Cullen sporting goods on Aug 12 1931. It was returned for the installation of 40" barrels one month later. The gun was the shipped back to a D.J. Smyers 23 months later. Is it possible that 40" barrels were installed? Currenty has the correct original S/N 32" barrels installed. Is the sporting goods store or the person that the gun was shipped to, familiar to any one?
