    Research pending... Archived Message

I will make this the last post on this subject for a while as it's taking up too much room the board. I will be getting an official response today from Cody as to the questions we have raised on the letter "T" that is sometimes found in the ledger records.

A preliminary discussion with them this morning has yielded some results. The Cody museum does not have any primary source to state what the "T" stands for and thus they can't say with any degree of certainty what it stands for.

I found last night while researching this further that I couldn't find any "T" entries in any of the grade guns I have records of post 1925. Only guns prior to 1925 have the "T" in them. Reason for this is unknown. I brought this up in my conversation this morning and the researcher agreed that they haven't found any records of "T" in ledgers on guns post 1925. I think this is interesting...but it doesn't answer anything either!

Upon reviewing the official Cody reply...I will only post info if it's something new or different than what I just mentioned.
