F Hammer gun barrel markings Archived Message Posted by Rick Liblong on July 31, 2007, 8:49 pm I bought a very nice Elsie F Hammer gun, SN 29xxx. (1894-5?) Everything looks correct except there are no markings at all on the top of the twist steel barrels. The only marking on the bottom of the barrels is the correct serial number. Are these the original, correct barrels?
