On the shotgun is Hunter Arms Co. Inc. L.C. Smith MFRS Fulton NY, USA with numbers Fw 24182 FIELD I appears to be either a 16 or 20 guage shotgun. Comes apart into 3 seperate peices, the barrel, the action/butt, and the hand grip. If you have any idea what model and year this gun is, please let me know. my email is stinger_jones@yahoo.com
does this help me to identify this shotgun, it belonged to a relative of mine and i am trying to find out some of the history about the shotgun.
It was also in a leather case that was patented in Dec 17 of 1907 I believe.
