    Ledger info Archived Message

I am in the middle of researching some things regarding the ledgers from Hunter Arms. Specifically speaking, the "code" letters or designations given to denote certain options the gun was ordered with.

I wanted to ask this here so many could reply with their thoughts and hopefully with some facts. We all know about the Cody letters we can obtain for our guns. My question is, as pertaining to the LETTER designations given under the TYPE column in the ledger, where is it printed a key or a chart STATING what code means what?

We all hear this and that about the letters and we go from there. Is there a primary source that can be viewed to extrapolate these conclusions? I love the hunt, whether it be for acquiring more guns, hunting the various species I enjoy, or hunting for historically correct info. Can someone please add to this? I would greatly appreciate some thoughts and if at all possible, backed up with some facts. How did we get the letter code break down for options to be begin with? This inquiring mind would like to know. Thanks for your time, and feel free to email me if you wish to continue this topic off the board.
