Thanks Craig and Mike. The 'C' is the mark of Crucible Steel Co., which purchased Sanderson Bros. Steel Co. in 1900. I have no way of confirming the 'BD' to be the mark of Bauduin Doyen, but we've now found 3 damascus brls which that stamp. The numbers could be a pre-finish weight stamp, IF Craig's guns are both 10g. The heaviest #1 frame Fox 12g 30" brls prior to final fit and finish were 4 lb. 2 oz.; #2 frame were 3 lb. 14 oz. Craig, could you please weigh your brls?
