I was hoping to get a little advice. I'm looking at buying a field grade made in the late 40's. I was wondering how the quality compared to the guns made earlier? This gun has two holes drilled into the bottom rib, one on each side of the lug. Is that normal? It doesn't look like it has been reblued. My other LCs were made in the 20's and do not have holes. Thank you for any help.
