I have taken off the sideplates on a feild grade I purchased. I did not disassemble the locks (springs, etc.) But, now, I am trying to put the plates back on and they will not come together. I can get one plate on and go to put theother and it just wont let me get the last few milimeters. I bought the "take your LC apart" manual from Brownells, but there are no tricks that I can see... Ay suggestions?
