Shooting Schedule
Continental Breakfast served from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Sporting Clays Shooting from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon
Lunch served from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.
Sporting Clays Shooting from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This will be the first side by side shotgun shoot sponsored by The Virginia Vintagers. All side-by-side shotgun shooters are welcome to join us for a full day of clay target shooting. The dress code for this shoot will be summer casual dress for gentlemen and ladies. It is expected to be very hot in Virginia on June 30, 2007.
The fee for this full day of shooting including breakfast, lunch and gratuities will be $90.00. We are planning on shooting 50 sporting clays targets, 50 five stand targets and 50 FITASC targets. Extend an invitation to your friends to get out their side-by-side shotguns and join us for the day. The fee for a non-shooter accompanying a shooter to this event is $30.00 to cover the cost of breakfast and lunch. All of the procedures and rules for shooting at Old Forge must be complied with during this Virginia Vintager shoot.
At approximately 6:00 p.m. following the day of shooting at Old Forge we will gather at a local restaurant for supper. Carl Brandt, The Master of the Hunt for this event, will need to know if you are planning on staying for dinner after the shoot with us. Carl will be making the reservations at the restaurant for our group. Please let Carl know before Tuesday the 26th of June 2007 if you will be attending the dinner following the shoot. A confirmation of your reservation will be sent back to you by way of e-mail. We must have a close head count of shooters and non-shooting guest when we order the food. If for some reason you are unable to attend the shoot after making a reservation you will only be held accountable for the cost of the food that is being catered in to Old Forge for The Virginia Vintagers. Jent must have your reservation for this shoot no later than Tuesday, June 26, 2007.
