Saw my first Monogram grade gun yesterday Archived Message

I was in a local gunshop yesterday and saw this gun the shop had taken in on a trade Saturday. It's a 1910 Monogram and beautiful. Straight grip to a skeleton butt, 28" Whitworth barrels. There's some closet wear on the stock. Checkering and metalwork are amazing. I was told the gun had been in this guy's family since new, but he wanted something "modern" to shoot. FOOL! The dealer said he clearly did not know what he had, so they showed him the Bluebook. He ended up with a new Beretta 471 and cash to take home. Hope he's happy.
