Mr.Johnson. I am the author of the new Smith book. See page 14. Harry Comstock along with John Hunter initially formed the Hunter-Comstock Gun Co. to manufacturer his patented shotgun before the Hunters settled on the purchase of the Smith gun. Harry Comstock assuming it is the same Comstock and gun was L.C.Smith's personal representative on the west coast at one time. I would like very much to see pictures of the Comstock gun.
