Homeless 1906 12g 00 30" Armor steel brls followed me home from the Phoenix Gun Show today-to replace a Sterly as my S. Dakota block & drive pheasant gun.
Fading but remarkable rose and turquoise colors which this pic can't quite capture

The mystery is the brl markings

From 'The Book' and the ads on the PictureTrail I've come up with these LC distributors:
The Sporting Goods Agencies Montreal, Canada
Schoverling, Daly & Gales New York City
    McDonald & Linforth San Francisco
Harder Sporting Goods Co. Williamsport, PA
    Wm. Read & Sons Boston
    Hurty-Simmons Hardware Co Minneapolis
    J. A. Johnson, Great Western Gun Works Pittsburg
    Von Lengerke & Antoine Chicago
    A. J. Rummel Arms Co. Toledo
    W. S. Brown Pittsburg
    Powell & Clement Cincinnati
Boehme & Rauch Co. Monroe, Mich.
This is definitely not the commonly found S, D & G of Schoverling, Daly & Gales

Any ideas? Anybody with a gun with similar markings? And what is the big 'C'? Thanks!
