John: My comments were not intended to besmearch the country of Belgium, as that country has always enjoyed a great reputation as a gunmaker, with names like Dumoulin representing the highest in quality and known the shooting world over. However, the country of Belgium (not Dumoulin) also had a number of makers who produced huge quanities of low quality and cheap doubles for export to the US; but don't take my word, research this area for yourself. You could begin by reviewing an old Sears catalog; note therein all the imported double guns being retailed at $7-9-12 when, for instance, the lowest priced LC Smith was a $20 hammer gun. By the way, are you coming to the Challenge this year?
