Had a very informative, pleasant, and productive chat with Bob Williams, owner of Wind River. He called to clear up a couple of details on the "Winnie" his is re-barreling for me/my customer. Gun is shipping tomorrow. Now I suppose I could have been sold a bill of goods by a "slick Willy knockoff" but I do not think so. Sure, as I have said, "proof of the pudden is in da eatin'," however I choose to think positively. He was kind enough to even share a few hard to find "Sweet Elsie" screws.
