Baltimore Show, Access, Parking. Archived Message

This is the annual block of instruction on getting in and getting out of the Baltimore Show at the Timonium Fairgrounds. Closing time on Saturday is an absolute impossible situation getting out of the parking lot at the Fairgrounds. Solution, don't park in the Fairgrounds lot unless you have stuff to load at the end of the day. Just across the rail tracks from the Timonium Road entrance to the Fairgrounds is Greenspring Drive. Turn up Greenspring Drive on the same side of Timonium Road as the Fairground, proceed to the Rail Transit Parking Lot. Park as close as you can to the left rear corner of the Cow Palace Building (across the tracks) which is where the gun show is. The rail passenger platform is at this location. Park your car and walk across the station platform, around the left side of the show building, around front and to the show. It is a five minute level walk. The lot is largely deserted on weekends except for Transit Police patrols and a few smart gun show guys. At the end of the day, you will be out on the road while everyone else is waiting to exit the Fairground lot. See you on Tables B-4 and B-5.
