Dear Mr. Redmon. The hammerless guns had re-bounding locks because the upper arm or leg of the mainspring continued to maintain contact with the hammer after firing thereby rebounding the hammer i.e. a re-bounding lock see page 366 of the new book. I am not sure about the hammer guns but I don't think they had re-bounding locks. I suggest you contact Len Applegate at . 513-942-7572 . He will probably know. Good Luck.
