I recently acquired a field grade 12ga FWS23xxx. It was purchased new by my father-in-law in 1947 and has seen little use. The overall condition of the metal bluing and case colors excellent (although I'd describe the case colors as subdued). Unfortunately, he cut off about 2" of the stock (LOP from the front trigger to the end of the wood is 12"). I need about a 14.25 LOP. Additionally the wood needs refurbishing. Any suggestions for an GA/TN/SC area LC specialist that could give the gun a tune-up, refinish the stock adding a recoil pad and perhaps spacers to make up the length? Or should I consider just having the gun restocked (I know that is an expensive option, but we'll be keeping the gun in the family and want an attractive "shooter").
