Carl: Your gun was made in 1905 and could have damascus barrels. You can find information about the L.C. Smith Grades here: http://www.lcsmith.org/shotguns/pre1913grades.html Let us know what part of the country you're from and we might be able to recomend a doublegun specialist smith to check and clean your gun.
