I know there are lots of opinions about restorations of sweet old elsies,but what determines when a gun should be considerd for restoration,and no longer has collector value I would assume a gun with major wood or metal damage would be the ideal canidate. Does this effect the value of higher grade guns,even though they were produced in such limited numbers
