    Does the gun have a maker's address? With Stubb Twist barrels it sounds like an early Syracuse, NY
    gun; as I don't believe Stubb Twist barrels were standard or optional in 1919 when all grades were numbered in the same sequenctial serial number block, and pre-1919 production hammer gun serial number blocks are not found in the 11XXX sn range. At any rate, both Syracuse and Fulton address Smith hammer guns were produced in F Grade.
