I noticed that difference also; and the engraving pattern is slightly different from a standard Pigeon pattern. End the suspense and remove the left lockplate to check for a grade stamp (simple to do, just cock hte gun and remove a single screw) and share a photo. If the gun does not have a grade stamp, it would be an ungraded gun; a "special" order built to someone's specs/tastes and outside whatever existing grade parameters were at that time.
