I have an August 1894 Chas. J. Godfrey catalogue that has nearly half a page devoted to the L.C. Smith Pigeon Gun with the new Crown Steel barrels. The text kind of plays fast an loose with the terms "Pigeon Gun" and "Pigeon Grade." So, if the company had time to get information and a printing block to Godrey in time for an August 1894 catalogue, they must have been in the works for some period of time. Is this the gun you were buying when we spoke at Las Vegas?
I see the new book still lists 1895 to 1913 for the Pigeon.
