    Question about beavertail forend ROLLER IRON Archived Message

    I have an original ejector beavertail forend for a specialty grade, this is the wood alone.
    I have extra ejector forend metal from another forend that is not beavertail.
    My question is, the metal fits well EXCEPT FOR THE ROLLER PIECE, because the beavertail is much deeper it WILL NOT REACH.

    DID THEY MAKE DIFFERENT LENGTH ROLLERS FOR THE BEAVERTAIL? THE PIECE YOU ROLL TO RELEASE THE FOREND/ THANKS, DAVID
