I've been following this forum for a while now, and have recently joined the LCSCA. With the advice and help I've gotten I felt confident in taking my old "Elsie" 20 ga. for an outing. On New Years Eve I shot her for the first time in more than 35 years. Other than a Sporting Clays round about ten years ago (with a different gun) it was really the first time I had shot in all those years. No matter what the "experts" may say about practice, practice, practice, being the only way to succeed, I found another way. I just let the gun do her thing. I busted the first four in a row, and most of the rest that day. Now this wasn't a real range, just a manual thrower and a bunch of friends, but the old girl just didn't want to miss. It got downright eerie, when others, who had never even seen this gun, started shooting her and busting the majority of their clays! All in all, a Very Happy New Years! If I can figure out how to post pictures, I'll do so in the next few days. And a Happy New Year to all. Chick
