    With the barrels marked Field grade and Armour steel, your gun began life as the least expensive LC Smith hammerless model. This also means that any engraving is aftermarket (not factory original). Hand-engraving, by itself, is usually expensive; but it may or may not add value to your gun, that would depend on the quality of the work done and its esthetic (eye) appeal. I have no idea where you could get an honest appraisal in your area; so I will invite others to chime in with those suggestions.
