Terry is right. Republic Metallic Cartridge has blackpowder 10 ga. ammo. I have a box of their 5 dram/ 1 1/8oz of #4 bismuth. I have patterened this load and it performs very well with my modified/full choke barrels on paper. I have a ten pound shotgun and recoil is very manageable. I haven't been able to do much hunting this year so I can't say how it performs on game.

I plan on going two ways with ammo: Rocky Mountain Cartridge's brass 2 7/8th" brass hulls and plastic field hulls. I'll use the plastic hulls for lead target loads and brass hulls to duplicate the 5 dram bismuth load for waterfowl. I have found that when you touch off 5 drams (136.7 grains) of blackpowder you will burn through half of your plastic hulls! My experience says brass hulls is the way to go. Enjoy your treasured piece!
