Normally the factory original guns for the 3-inch Super-X type shells were marked either LONG RANGE or WILD FOWL on the bottom of the barrel lug that protrudes through the bottom of the frame. Also, on the barrel flat they were marked with the word CHAMBERS in an arch with a 3 under it and then INCHES as a rocker underneith. These Long Range Wild Fowl guns also had the reinforced forearm loop on the barrels. We need a picture of the bottom side of the barrels to tell if your gun has the reinforced loop.
