20 Ga. LC Smith Forend Problem Archived Message

    Gentlemen:
I am a gunsmith in Steamboat Springs, Colorado seeking to connect with a good gunsmith familiar with LC Smith shotguns. A good friend is seeking assistance in locating the correct parts to repair a 20 gauge LC Smith owned by his new father in law in Cuba! The forend falls off each time the gun is fired, an anoying situation to say the least. The gun cannot leave the country but my friend can bring the parts to him.
He has sent me an excellent set of photos of the gun showning barrel hanger, forened off the gun, etc. and more information can be sourced by putting a talented LC Smith gunsmith directly in touch with him. I will gladley relay the pictures I have if someone out there has the interest and experience to help. I am also willing to call and discuss the details with any gunsmith so interested.
Thank you for taking the time to read and respond.
