I just recently purchased my father a LC Smith sided by side shotgun 12 gauge. The gun is in mint condition and is beautifly finished. He had a gun like this as a youth and had to get rid of it in the 1940's. The serial number reflects that it was made in 1920 and has a London steel barrell with an etched receiver. Does anyone know what a gun like this is worth? I paid $1,075.00 for it and I am going to give it to him as a gift for Christmas.
