    Christmas coming early? Archived Message

I recently bought a 32", 12 gauge L.C. Smith field grade sight unseen to go with my field grade 20 gauge. The price was so good that I agreed to buy it without finding out much about her. Since then I learned that it has double triggers, #69791, which I think makes it a 1924 model. No pitting in the barrels or cracks in the stock. It should arrive within a week. Bill's earlier post on the Waterfowl model has me wondering if all 32" barreled 12 gauges were Waterfowl models? And what is meant by gusseted barrels? The seller sent me a few pictures, none of the barrel flats or water table. If I post them is there some way to tell if it might have 3" chambers? Would a post of the bottom of the frame show if it has the larger barrel lug? I can't wait to unwrap her. Thank you.
