    Quite some time ago,(in the 70's), I got an L.C. top lever from Numrich. It was "in the white", and required some final shaping and finishing. The thumb part was checkered on the left side, but the forward part required some shaping and polishing, as I recall. I think it also came with a screw. The "leg" projecting down to accept the spring was fine as received, and required no extra work for fitting. (This was for a 12 Ga.).I think if you receive a similar lever, anyone familiar with working on , and refinishing guns, will be able to "fix you up". I finished and blued the lever for a customer (had a part time 'smith business at the time), and he installed it.I never heard back from him with any complaints, so it must have been okay.
