Jerry and all who responded to my request months ago; I have an update to announce. I found a gunsmith about twenty miles west of me about a month ago. He contacted me yesterday stating the gun was ready for pickup. He did a very nice job on it, and it closes like a bank vault door. I plan to write a short story on my Grandads LC and submit it to the Journal. Thank you all for your interest and support.
