I'm searching for information. I have a field grade L C Smith 16 gauge, serial number 100306, manufactured in 1927, with what looks to be a factory installed under the barrel sling swivel. There is a look-a-like one under the stock too. I've seen one other in years past that looks similar. Swivels on shotguns are usually seen on foreign shotguns.
Does anyone have information about Elsies with sling swivels? Thank You in advance.
