Does anyone know if the action is wider on the 3” long range models compared to other models? I know the receiver and barrels are reinforced but I was wondering if it requires a larger stock to be fit on the action. Im looking to find one to shoot trap with since I shoot LC Smiths well and I like a little extra weight. I would think it will hold up real well just shooting target loads.
If there is no dimensional difference, I will just pick up a regular frame field grade longer barrels.
