Greetings from Memphis, TN. First post on LCSCA. First post anywhere. I have a puzzle regarding an LC Smith 12 gauge trying to find an approximate production year. I’ve had it a few years and research it from time to time to time. It is stamped 3E. It came with two sets of barrels with separate forends and both barrels, both forends, the receiver and trigger guard extension have matching 4 digit serial numbers of 64xx. No prefixes. It has the roller forend release on both forends. Of course it has ejectors. It also has a hunter one trigger. It seems like the options don’t match the serial numbers. The gun has 25% -30% case coloring left and it looks as if it has never been tampered with. Both barrel sets are marked “Hunter Arms Co. Fulton N.Y.” Each individual barrel is stamped with a roundish mark that says trade mark on the outside and H. AO on inside but is all I can make out. Any thoughts? Thanks for letting me post. AJ
