On my FWE Ideal 12ga, 1928 vintage. 
I have shot it a few times and it worked flawlessly.  
I haven't had this gun only a few months and have it broken down for cleaning with side plates off.                           
However, I noticed that the cocking levers that engage the forearm do not rotate up to the same level.  The right leaver rotates up to the top of the milled-out area in the receiver, but the left lacks about 0.080" before reaching the same rotation. 
They both rotate down to the same level.  I can't see any definite interference on either end. There is no binding and both make clean stops

I would like to know if this is normal.
