"An Attempt to Unite the LCSCA Journal with Our Website Forum"
The general purpose of these articles is to spread the knowledge of our beloved guns to all who express interest by subscribing to our Journal through membership in the LCSCA. During the process of preparing this material, I have raised several questions for which I do not have answers. Coincident with the timing of the publication of this article I intend to present the requests that appear below on our LCSCA website forum.
I have two objectives in doing so. The first is to appeal to a larger audience for answers and the second is to tie together The Journal and the website Forum. Since we don’t have a question and answer section in our Journal, for a good reason, the answers wouldn’t become available until 3 months after publication of the questions, I recommend that we try this scenario: Invite questions in The Journal and provide answers on the Forum. If we do it right it could increase membership by piquing interest on the Forum by not providing all the information available through The Journal.
I, with help from the readership, would like to concentrate on:
1. Proof of the two dog version termination in 1904 and,
2. The year of introduction of the four bird version.
