I purchased a lc smith 16 that has fws on it. Is this meaning feather weight? Is the s meaning it was under marlin ownership? Serial start 205 is this a 1945 shotgun? Im super excited im avid bird hunter with setters and gsps and plan to carry the heck out of it! Any info would be much appreciated! Ive hunted with doubles for years but its my first elsie!
