Sometime in early 1924 Mr. Daub placed an order with the Hunter Arms Company for a 12 gauge feather-weight Monogram with 30" barrels, auto ejectors (standard) and a selective HOT. It was started on May 12, 1924 and finished on August 23, 1924. On August 26, 1924 it left Fulton, NY for the long journey to the Seattle Hardware Company at First Ave. and South King St. Thankfully, Mr. Daub had ordered his gold inlaid signature on the trigger guard which has allowed me to piece some of this history together. Mr. Daub would have paid about $442.50 for his Monogram in 1924, about $7,500 in current dollars. At some point a beavertail forend was added, most likely for trap shooting, which appears to have come from the Hunter Arms factory.
