Got a call this afternoon from Brenda Hamlin, Buck Hamlin's wife. Buck is very seriously sick and is fighting the biggest battel of his life as he deals with cancer.
Many LCSCA members know double gun smith Buck Hamlin; either from his working to restore and/or repair their Smith gun/s, and thru articles published in the LC Journal. Buck has been a personal friend and mentor of mine since 1985, as I'm sure he has for many of you also. According to Brenda, all is being done medically that can be done; so we need a miracle. If you are a person of faith, please fervently pray that God's will is retore Buck to his health; and also pray for Brenda. As Buck's care giver, this is a very stressful and emotional time for her; and she needs everyone's prayers for strength and emotional comfort.
