Wall thickness"
I will do that Dr. Drew (MWT?). I ended up with the earlier gun of the two "O" grades I was considering. The noticeably better-shaped action, with engraving even(!) (perhaps reminiscent of the Syracuse-era guns?) and it's really, pretty decent overall condition finally won me over. A very-early Fulton, NY gun (late 1891) with the quite-different extractor system, 30-inch "twist" steel tubes, and an interesting dogs-head (original?) butt plate (and all that for basically the price of a pumpgun!). So...I guess I'm back into "American" doubleguns again, this should be interesting. The 14-inch LOP w/1 3/4 & 3-inches of drop might take a little getting used to but... I think I'll manage. It'll get here later this week from Connecticut. (Hopefully, I didn't buy a pig-in-a-poke.) Ted won't understand this one at all.
