In Brophy's book "Plans and Specifications' on page 87 the drawing shows the bushing hole using a #29 drill(.136) which would be correct for a .134 firing pin tip.
Bottom of drawing gives reference to 63-R (R is for Regular frame)
Page 88 shows bushing hole using a #25 drill (.1495) but in parentheses shows a dimension of (.110) that is where the mistake lies.
Everything else on the two drawings are the same except on the bottom it refers to 63-FW & R.(again no Featherweights were made with a bushed firing pin.) This drawing from Marlin Arms Co. circa 1949, no reference given to the other on page 87.
It seems to me the draftsman was given either a rough drawing or part and made a mistake in the firing pin opening on the bushing.
