I just learned that Jim Kelly of Darlington Gun Works passed away a few days ago. I knew he had been in poor health, but when I last saw him a few months ago he was in good spirits, still enjoying his cigar. He worked on several L C Smiths for me, both restoration and repair, and I was always happy with the work. I addition to being a truly master gunsmith, he was a very nice guy. RIP
