I’ve seen some pretty ratty guns with a Hunter One and a Miller that both worked fine. The key is the original stock and keeping amateur gunsmiths from “ hogging” them around and messing them up. I guess when I started this gunsmithing madness in 1976 I probably “hogged” around a bit too! Millers are WAY less complicated. Fox Kautsky is the best one out there in my opinion. They are metal parts hooked together. Any of them can fail. “ Cannot balk, Will not Double”. Ida left that slogan out of advertising until they had some time behind them.
